In 2016, GSRO secured a research project with NAS and USAID to assess glaciers’ role in the Kabul and Amu Darya river basins.
Kabul River Basin`s Climate Change Consultation Conference
This research examines the contribution of glacier and snowmelt to river flow in the Amu Darya and Kabul River basins. Funded by NAS, USAID, and GSRO.
